Minister of State and Fianna Fáil TD for Galway East, Anne Rabbitte, has welcomed the creation of 120 jobs by Nostra, some of which will be at their regional office in Athenry, Co. Galway.
Nostra, one of Ireland’s leading Managed I.T Service Providers (MSP), will create the jobs over the next 2 years. The highly skilled positions are in Engineering, I.T Support, Cybersecurity and Sales and Marketing.
The company, which was founded in 2006, is headquartered in Lucan, Dublin but has satellite, regional offices located in Athenry, Galway, and in Mountmellick, Laois.
It provides end-to-end managed IT solutions to a number of world-leading brands and multinationals across multiple industries including manufacturing, pharma, education, healthcare, and fintech.
Commenting on the announcement, Minister Rabbitte said,
As the country begins to emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s great to see jobs being created in towns like Athenry. What’s greater still is the level of flexibility in these roles. Successful applicants will be able to either work from home or from one of Nostra’s offices, including Athenry.
This is undoubtedly a welcome boost as we get people back to work in sustainable and high-quality jobs and rebuild our economy. It’s also great to see a more regionalised approach, which helps ensure the economy’s regrowth is more evenly spread.
Minister Rabbitte concluded:
Remote working has become the norm for many of us over the past year and such an approach by Nostra is great to see as it indicates the flexibility and innovation in the company and also the workforce it attracts.
Nostra is looking for
- Systems and Professional Services Engineers
- Cybersecurity Specialists
- Tech Sales Executives
- Marketing Executives
- Customer Relationship Managers.
Some of the new hires will be in remote roles while others will be offered the option of hybrid working where they can combine working from home while working from one of the Nostra offices in Galway, Dublin, or Laois.
