It was such a pleasure to visit St. Dympna’s Services in my hometown Portumna to present a cheque for €20,000 to St. Dympna’s Services and Audrey Pigeon CEO Ability West towards the completion of our sensory garden.

I also had the pleasure in presenting the silver Gaisce award to Enda Brien. We were also joined by for the presentation she was joined by Siobhan Noctor, Development Officer, An Gaisce, Mr Paul Walsh, Principle of Garbally, Margaret Dynan, Enda’s keyworker and his parents Jenny and Padraig.
I also presented Matthew McDonagh with his bronze Gaisce Award joining him for the presentation was Audrey Pidgeon CEO Ability West, Siobhan Noctor Development Officer An Gaisce, Mr Paul Walsh, Principle of Garbally ,Ms Sharon Moloney Matthew’s keyworker and parents Gayle and Declan.
Enda is now working towards his gold medal while Matthew is working towards his silver.
