Portumna Lawn Tennis Club annual tennis marathon in aid of the Mater Foundation is happening this coming Sunday July 16th from 9 am to 10.30 pm coinciding with WIMBLEDON Mens Final Day.

The club will have Wimbledon Live on TV, strawberries and cream, PIMs and lots of tennis and fun.  They always put on a great show.

After a solid 13.5 hrs of tennis last year the club raised over €950 and they have a high bar set for this year.

Portumna Lawn Tennis Club are hoping to fill both courts,  starting  at 9am and continuing right through until 10.30 pm.

  • The score in sets from each game will accumulate throughout the day with all players on the winning side of the net will be in a draw for spot prizes.
  • Games may be in the format of singles or doubles, you can choose!
  • The day is open to members and non members alike.
  • Juniors welcome to play up to 7.30pm.
