The Zero Project is a unique initiative that aims to promote the rights of persons with disabilities around the world.
The project was started in 2008 by the Essl Foundation in Austria, with the goal of identifying innovative policies and practices that can help create a more inclusive society.
The Zero Project works closely with experts from around the world to identify and highlight the most innovative and effective approaches to promoting disability rights.
The Zero Project Conference
One of the key components of the Zero Project is the annual Zero Project Conference.
This conference brings together experts from around the world to share their knowledge and experience in promoting disability rights.
The conference features workshops, presentations, and panel discussions on a wide range of topics related to disability rights.
The conference also provides an opportunity for participants to network with other experts in the field.
Innovative Policies and Practices
The Zero Project is committed to identifying and promoting innovative policies and practices that can help create a more inclusive society.
Some of the innovative policies and practices that have been identified by the Zero Project include:

• innovative technologies that help persons with disabilities to participate more fully in society.
The Zero Project also works to promote the use of universal design principles in architecture and urban planning.
The Zero Project is an important initiative that is making a real difference in the lives of persons with disabilities around the world.
By promoting innovative policies and practices, the Zero Project is helping to create a more inclusive society where all individuals, regardless of ability, can fully participate and contribute.
I had the honour of attending the annual Zero Project Conference in Vienna on the 24th February 2022 where I had the opportunity for to meet experts in the field and to share our knowledge and experience, working together to promote disability rights.
We can all learn from the Zero Project’s innovative and inclusive approach, and work together to create a more equitable and just world.
